Classes are on-going throughout the year with a break for major holidays. Please see below for times of classes, fees and location. PLEASE NOTE: Due to Covid restrictions some of our classes will remain on zoom and some in-person. Please email us if you are unsure of which to attend and we can discuss your options. The best class to jump into is our weekly Wednesday Acting Class, via zoom, on Wednesdays at 1.30pm EST. A great place to meet Sheila and see if you want to commit to any of our longer workshops. UPDATE: All students must be fully vaccinated to attend any of the in-person classes listed below. Proof of vaccination required.
NO studio classes July 4-7th and no classes will be held on Zoom or in the studio from August 1 - 31st. We will break for summer.
MISSING A CLASS: You are allowed one make-up in each workshop round. You can take this in either of the zoom classes, and if there is room in a studio class we will let you use your make-up in one of those. Please email us in advance if you will miss a class in this round and we can work it out with you.
REQUIREMENTS: All students attending our studio classes for the first time must send us proof of full vaccination before classes begin.
IN-PERSON STUDIO CLASSES:
PROOF OF VACCINATION IS REQUIRED.
1. SENSORY TECHNIQUE
This class focuses on the fundamentals of sensory work. Class begins with a self-guided relaxation followed by assigned sensory exercises. The students work simultaneously as Sheila offers feedback and specific adjustments.

2. ADVANCED SCENE AND MONOLOGUE CLASS
Sheila has designed this class for experienced actors in order to simulate a professional audition and rehearsal experience. In this class an actor has the opportunity to present work, receive feedback and offer critique in each class. Students are given a partner and are asked to choose and prepare a scene of their choice.
All students must have a strong foundation in Sensory work to be in this class. If you do not, please attend the Sensory class prior to the Scene class.

3. STRUCTURED DRAMATIC IMPROVISATION- MIXED LEVEL

ONLINE ACTING CLASS SCHEDULE:
1. IMPROVISATION ZOOM WORKSHOP:
JUMP IN AND IMPROVISE
During these times of an ever shifting reality, the skill of improvisation is not only helpful, it is essential. To be supple as an artist is both liberating and empowering. Since most auditions and even rehearsals, and some filming, will be on-line we thought it would be fun and helpful to explore how to improvise on Zoom.

2. YOUNG ADULT CLASS (12-21yr olds) Via Zoom
We will begin the class with dancing and some body and voice work to loosen and warm you up. Then we will explore improvisations, exercises, cold readings and monologues.
